Registered Dietitian

Our client is an independent community hospital that has served Upper Sandusky and the surrounding region since 1950. As our Registered Dietitian, you will translate nutrition science into better outcomes for inpatients and outpatients. This is a temporary contract role.

Job Purpose

• To provide on-site interim coverage relating to the work scope on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for approximately 24 hours per week for a 3-month duration, commencing mid-December 2026 through March 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting Nutrition Expert for the client
• Clinical duties, nutrition assessments, care plans, and education
• Regulatory compliance

Essential Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential and current Ohio licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start).
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field; completion of an accredited internship.
• Proven ability to assess, plan, and evaluate nutrition care independently in an acute or community hospital setting.
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to confidentiality, compassionate care, and hospital standards of practice.
• Experience using EPIC.
